Right, here is my eight



1. I like random walks on the beach in Aberdeen with =diamond281 even more so first thing in the morning to get her out of bed.



2. I am more of a dog person than a cat person. I don't hate cats, I just have a strong dislike against them.



3. Personally, I am an Aries but I think horoscopes are rubbish.



4. I really hate soap operas but =diamond281 loves them...



5. I am completely addicted to Burnout Paradise, to the point that I want my own xbox 360 so I can play it when I'm not in Aberdeen.



6. I'm currently trying photography, even more so, I'm trying film photography. I have 2 film SLRs and 2 lenses. I am thinking on a digital SLR as well. I am using Canon as well at the moment, since =diamond281 uses Canon as well, we can share each other lenses! Also, I do the development myself.



7. I like fish, to eat and to have as pets. I have a huge pond in the back of my garden, hense why I don't like cats. They sometimes like to go fishing. I have no idea how many fish there is in the pond or how many types because they are so many! And no, I don't eat my pet fish...



8. I am currently under very strict instructions of =diamond281 to not get addicted to ebay. Even though, I have brought a lot of things off ebay over the last 3 weeks...god, I don't want to even know what she will do.



And yes, there is a number 9. I love =diamond281 very very much.

So yeah, I'm in Scotland and it's my 35th birthday...another year wiser as I like to say

It's great being here with Addie aka =diamond281. Her lastest journal was very sweet of her. Lovely, isn't she?

Well, Addie got me an excellent camera bag and I love the card she gave me too She was saying that it's hard to get a card with "boyfriend" but bless her little heart, she did! So, tonight we went out for a chinese and oh my god, what a Chinese! It was really good. I must say, my girlfriend does have a really good taste for food...shame its not the same for movies

Now, you might be wondering why Addie got me a camera bag since I don't have a SLR camera? Wrong. I got 2 film SLR bodies and a lense as well. I also got a kit for developing as well. Since Addie got her Canon 400D, it's given me my drive back for photography. Many moons ago, I did have a film SLR. So hopefully if I can get back into it, I'll remember all the techinal stuff I used to know and help Addie improve I might get a dSLR yet, I don't know but watch this space

As for Shetland, it was really nice being there but I can also understand why Addie doesn't want to live there anymore. It really is the middle of nowhere and where she lives is even more so. If we were longer than 4 days then I might have rented a car so we can drive about. But for 4 days, it really wasn't worth it.

I'm going to disappear for now, I'm going to cuddle up with my Addie and watch a movie with her. I go back to Bromsgrove on Tuesday. I'm sure going to miss her

An extremely quick update... i am currently on Shetland with =diamond281 visiting her family. Once i am back in Aberdeen i will do a full report.

Well, Me and Addie arrived back from our weekend in Wales yesterday. We were in Wales for the welsh devmeet which was organisated by ^maxwell-heza

We started travelling about 8 because we decided that we were gonna drive down...it wasn't a great day to drive really. It was on and off with rain We got there about 10, checked in to our hotel, which was a lovely friendly place. Me and Addie really liked it.

We then walked into town to do some exploring around about where we were meeting. Addie went and looked in games shops, as she normally does. She hates clothes but loves games...what an odd girl. We also went to Weatherspoons near there to found out that there was an ale festival thing on and they had Orkney beer Ok not quite Shetland but it's close enough. I didn't get a chance to taste it but I might do when I'm in Aberdeen on Tuesday Addie, by this point was texting @leaf-lover who had almost arrived in Cardiff so we decided to meet her train coming in. So my nemisis was the first deviant other than us to arrive! Haha! Then, $zilla774 arrived, who @leaf-lover recognise and we didn't Addie kinda figured it out who it was because he did say he was going to wear a dA t-shirt

After that, lots of other people arrived, it must have been between 30 to 35 people. Addie was a little overwhalmed by all the people there. Well, she is a wee island girl from the middle of no where! There must be only 5 people on Shetland...ok, she's going to slap me when she reads that...
Anyway, we then went to the Megabowl in Cardiff. Me, Addie, @leaf-lover and :devwonderingelf: got into $zilla774 car to get there. He was in the short-term stay for the train station

We arrived at the megabowl and started ten-pin bowling. I was on a lane with :deblackice:, *JennyB, *carbon-12 ~miniminx545 and *kafine which was cool. Addie was on a lane with `cei- @leaf-lover :devwonderingelf: $zilla774 and ^maxwell-heza However, ^maxwell-heza disappeared for a bit and *thedreamwolf took over. It was a laugh. Addie can't play well without the barriers up which made me laugh. After that, we went to the bar there were `cei- was showing us his lenses for his camera. We ended up chatting to *AlexJHH and other people. It was good to relax.

Anyway, it was great to meet people there. I had a really fun time. Me and Addie went back to the hotel later than we thought. We slept for the night to get up at about 7.30am again. We got a really good cooked breakfast by the hotel However, when we went back up to the room to get our stuff, Addie's eyes had gone really dry and very itchy which looked painful and she started coughing and sneezing. We don't know what had happened but she had a reaction to something at somepoint today (Sunday) or yesterday (Saturday). So, before I could do anything else we had planned, she needed eye drops or something. We checked out the Hotel and drove to Penarth to the tesco to get eye drops. It was really funny watching Addie get them in her eyes - and there's slap number 2. After that, we went to Cardiff Bay Barridge and about Cardiff Bay generally, we even got a water bus too

Then after all that, we drove back home. Addie slept a lot of the way but it was a nice sunny day and she was shattered. After being in Wales with the sunny weather, Bromsgrove was raining We arrived back at Bromsgrove about 4 where Addie slept a bit more and I just browse the Internet and relaxed after a good weekend.

Once me and Addie arrive in Aberdeen on Tuesday, Addie will post up some of the photos from her camera. I'm going to Shetland to see Addie's Mum soon. I'm nervous...

So that was our weekend. How was yours?

So, in 28 days I turn yet another year older so I must ask, when you get older do you get wiser or do you just forget the useless information that you stored for the last 20 odd years? It's really worth considering.

So on Saturday, my beloved Addie comes down to see me again. I'm very excited since I've missed her for the last 2 weeks. I love meeting up with her. I'm very glad that we spend Easter together, since I was in Japan for Christmas. Not sure what we will be doing though

Oh finally, go and congratuate
`Rushy on his seniorship. Both me and Addie said he deserved it!
